Designer Therapeutic Copper Bracelet
This therapeutic copper bracelet has a slightly domed surface which gives it a more full appearance. It is made of pure copper and has a hammered sterling silver piece captured in the center. The smooth copper edges and the hammered silver center creates a beautiful combination of contrasting color and texture.
The way this bracelet is constructed makes it ideal for those who suffer from joint pain and some forms of arthritis. The copper is under and around the silver so the pure copper surface is against the skin. This is an important feature if you are looking for a pure copper bracelet for therapeutic reasons.

Millefiori Interchangeable Stone Holder
This is my latest Interchangeable Stone Holder. The Stone Holder is made of sterling silver and is in the shape of a paintr’s pallete. The stone which can be easily interchanged with any number of Pi Stones or donut stones as they are often called, is not made of stone at all. It is made of beautiful glass called Millefiori glass.
Millefiori is French and it means ‘thousand flowers’. Millefiori glass is produced by cutting cross sections of fused bundles of glass rods of various colors and sizes.
The end result in this stone holder is a perfect combination of glass, metal and colors that reflect the theme of the painter’s art.
The Stump – Jewelry Workbench
I Thought you might like to see my jewelry work bench. Unlike most jeweler’s benches, Mine is an old piece of ash from a tree that came down during a storm in 1976. I started with this stump, a railroad spike and a ball peen hammer. Over the years, it has evolved along with my skills. As you can see, now I have several railroad spikes that I have shaped and polished along with a collection of hammers and other various tools. The box that it sits on is mounted on wheels so I can wheel it around to my favorite sun spots when the weather permits.
I now have a good size collection of custom shaped and polished railroad spikes and hammers to create the jewelry you see here and on my website.
The section on the right with a slot cut out of it was where a branch once grew. The slot is used for sawing also called pearsing.
The ring mandrel has two locations. One on top and one on the side of the stump.
The copper ring in the foreground is ideal for holding all the pliers and cutters. Very handy DIY (Do It Yourself) jewelry bench.
Golden Mean or Mother and Child Earrings
Golden Mean Earrings which I also call the Mother and Child earrings, were created by using the Golden Mean Proportions also known as the Fibonacci Number Sequence. I divided a circle into 8 equal parts and then made the first bend at the point where the whole was divided into 3 and 5. (See a short span of the Fibonacci number sequence below.) The rest was forged into a domed spiral curve to merge the two sides like an opening flower.
The two domed ends are then curved one over the other creating a cradle that follows the natural curve of the original circle. The results is this subtle sense of nurturing. Hence the name – Mother and Child.
